We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Sales Manager
Job Location: Lagos

Job Description
- Meet sales target given to your department by the company
- Manage and coordinate the company’s plastic products sales to drive revenue growth for the company.
- Maintain channel relationship with all distributors and retailers under your department, providing incentives and encourage increase in patronage.
- Carry out market research, competitor and customer survey.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparations of all the company forms and documents that facilitates sales e.g. Quotes, Invoices etc.
- Plan and carry out direct marketing activates to agreed budget, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
- Respond to and follow up sales enquires by post, telephones, electronic media and personal visits. All emails correspondent must be copied the management for information.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support and liaison internal order processing staff.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess HND / Bachelor's Degrees with 13+ years Marketing experience which 6 years must be at manager level.
Salary
N300,000 Monthly.

2.) Welder
Job Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Job Summary
- Responsible for the welding for different products to meet company specifications utilizing engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, understand and interpret engineering drawings, plan layout specifications, assembly and welding operations.
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
- Set up components for welding according to specifications.
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
- Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
- Lay out, position, secure parts and assembly with respect to the standard specifications using clamps, rulers, combination squares and other required tools.
- Develop templates and other work aids to hold and align parts.
- Cut electrodes and nozzle tips using chipping knives, hand shears etc.
- Tack-weld or weld components and assembly using gas, arc or other welding equipment.
- Detailed observation of dimension tolerance to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications.
- Inspect grooves, angles, gap allowance using precision measuring instruments.
- Remove rough spots, and spatters from work-piece using scraper, portable grinder with its attachment such as grinding disc and sanding disc.
- Set up torch and adjust valves, amperage, or voltage to obtain desired flame or arc.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws or leakages (in case of enclosed parts) using the required testing equipment such as pressured air (for tanks) etc…
- Inspect visually the welding bead for conformance to the operation procedures.
- Maintain equipment and materials in a condition that does not compromise safety.
- Assist the maintenance crew to carry out a routine maintenance of equipment and machinery.
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed and to maintain all quality systems in order to meet production targets.
- Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. Welding & Fabrication Engineering or equivalent would be a plus.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of proven work experience in the welding industry with skills in both welding and fabrication.
Competencies:
- Comprehensive understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings and plan layout specifications, assembly and welding operations
- Detailed observation of dimension tolerance to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications
- Proper adherence to safety rules and guidelines and knowledge in the use of safety equipment to rescue situation such as fire extinguishers
- Good Working Knowledge of fabricating equipment from raw materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Proficient in Layout, Tacking, Welding, Grinding and finishing
- Exceptional attention to details
- Strong understanding in blue print reading/ weld symbols to accurately build products to specified tolerances
- Must be able to work within a team based environment to accomplish all aspects of welding and fabrication
- Knowledge in use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
- Able to stoop, bend, reach, or stand up for long periods
- Excellent close vision and depth perception
- Hand-eye coordination
- Manual dexterity and strong physical stamina.

3.) Gen - Set Testing Officer
Job Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Collect daily target and plan from supervisor and ensure it is achieved.
- Ensure good communication to supervisor for materials shortages, staff absent and issues that will affect daily target on time for proper planning.
- Ensure timely start on work
- Ensure all testing procedures are followed and adhered to by testers in the section.
- Testing of gen-set and ensure standard is maintained
- Conduct periodic training on the staff on best practice to testing gen-sets with high quality.
- Follow up with forklift driver to ensure that units are supplied and removed from testing bay on time.
- Actively participate in IMS and communicate same to staff in section.
- Maintain safe and clean environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations (5S)
- Demonstrate safety awareness by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Report any issues encountered during testing with the root cause and possible corrections to supervisor.
- Report and fill quality assurance form for any faulty gen-set during testing and give to supervisor.
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standard of the company.
- Monitor and ensure proper use, cleaning and maintenance of tools, load bank, laptop, and other accessories by testers in the section.
Requirement

4.) Production Supervisor
Job Location: Gbagada, Lagos

Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the assembly of all Jamara Operations Limited products, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Ensure production targets set by management are met efficiently and within the required timelines.
- Supervise and manage production team members, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Maintain accountability for production tools, ensuring proper usage, maintenance, and a clean and organized workspace.
- Identify defective items and ensure proper handling according to established quality control procedures.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration among production staff to achieve operational goals.
- Monitor workflow and optimize processes to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including reporting unsafe conditions, participating in fire or emergency drills, and incident reporting and investigation.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports to facilitate performance tracking and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with management to implement process improvements and address production challenges.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
- 3 - 8 years of experience in a production or assembly environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and IMS responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to improve efficiency and resolve production issues.
