Multipro Consumer Products Limited is the largest company in Nigeria dealing in Sales, Haulage and Logistics. MCPL was founded in 1996 as a fully owned company of the Tolaram Group. The first product sold by MCPL in 1996 was Indomie and since then it has played a seminal role in making Indomie a household brand in Nigeria. MCPL over the years has grown adding 13 brands in various categories comprising of Noodle, Snacks, Milk, Cereal, Oil, Homecare and Personal Hygiene.

Job Position: Quality Control Officer
Job Location: Surulere, Lagos

Job Summary

• To manage quality assurance for one of the brands under a leading FMCG Group while bringing a high level of efficiency and maintaining maximum effectiveness.
• The Quality Control Officer is responsible for checking and verifying the quality of all goods received, stored, and dispatched from the warehouse.
• The role ensures that products meet the company’s standards before they are moved into inventory or delivered to customers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all incoming goods to ensure they meet quality and quantity specifications.
• Check packaging, labels, expiry dates, and product conditions.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the warehouse supervisor.
• Ensure proper storage of products according to company guidelines.
• Conduct routine quality checks on items in the warehouse.
• Verify that outgoing orders are accurate and meet quality standards before dispatch.
• Maintain quality control records and update inspection logs.
• Work with warehouse staff to correct quality issues quickly.
• Ensure compliance with safety and warehouse procedures.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior warehouse or quality control experience is an advantage.
