Showgear Limited is a registered multimedia sales company, founded in 2015, equipped with adequate resources and multimedia gadgetry to meet the diverse audio/visual needs of our clients. We sell a bouquet professional equipment in the Audio, Acoustics and Visual landscape.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Graphics Designer
Job Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
In this position, you will:

• Study design briefs and determine the requirement
• Create original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way.
• Prepare drafts of design work and provides samples to editorial or other appropriate staff or departments for review.
• Develop illustrations, logos and other design using software or by hand
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Collaborate with team to understand assignments, audience and intended message
• Select fonts for written copy; produces sample layout for approval by manager or other project participants.
• Revise projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process.
• Consult with IT/Media manager, and/or other team members as needed on complex or specialized projects.
• Resolve other IT/Media related issues within the organization and as assigned by manager.

Other Responsibilities

• Assist team with campaign launches and management, coordinating and driving schedules and deliverables.
• Manage communication with external marketing vendors and respond or coordinate response to marketing requests.
• Work with sales and marketing teams to compile campaign performance data and prepare marketing reports.
• Assist with social media marketing activities, content creation, proofing, and posting.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

• B.Sc / HND in Graphics Design or related field
• 2+ years experience working in related field
• Proficient at using all graphic design applications
• Knowledge and experience in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Adobe Freehand
• Adobe After Effects
• Autodesk
• AutoCAD Software
• CAAD Software
• Microsoft Publisher
• Corel and CorelDraw Graphic Suite
• Apple Final Cut Pro
