Job Position: Graphic Designer
Job Location: Ajah, Lagos

Reports To: Design Manager / Project Manager / Technical Lead

Job Summary

• We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Graphic Technician with AutoCAD knowledge to support our design and production teams.
• The ideal candidate will have strong graphic design abilities, a good eye for detail, and the technical expertise to create or interpret precise AutoCAD drawings for use in digital and physical formats.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Drafting:

• Create, edit, and interpret technical drawings using AutoCAD software.
• Produce 2D and 3D design layouts for visual presentations, production, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, or project leads to translate concepts into accurate technical visuals.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards.

Graphic Design:

• Develop high-quality visual content including signage, labels, diagrams, product mock-ups, and marketing visuals.
• Work with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to enhance presentations and layouts.
• Support the production team in preparing print-ready files or digital content.
• Maintain consistency in branding and visual identity across all designs.

Documentation & Support:

• Maintain and organise design files, CAD libraries, and project archives.
• Participate in design reviews and revise drawings as required.
• Support production staff with file setup, scaling, and output formats.
• Assist in quality control by checking design files for accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0 - 2 years of work experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Strong understanding of design principles, dimensions, and technical drawing standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, SolidWorks) is an asset.
• Familiarity with printing processes, CNC file preparation, or signage/architectural design.
• Knowledge of material specifications and fabrication techniques (depending on industry).

Working Conditions:

• Office, studio, or workshop environment.
• May occasionally visit job sites for measurements, installations, or collaboration with clients or contractors.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
