We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Supermarkets Cashier

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:

• Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Answer customer questions and provide assistance with product location or information.
• Resolve minor customer issues and complaints related to product or price discrepancies.

Transaction Processing:

• Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately.
• Scan items and ensure accurate pricing.
• Accept cash, credit, debit, and other forms of payment.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change.

Maintaining a Clean and Efficient Checkout Area:

• Keep the checkout area tidy and organized.
• Bag customer groceries efficiently.
• Assist with restocking shelves and arranging displays as needed.

Other Duties:

• Participate in training and development programs.
• Assist with other store duties as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 1-5 years of experience.
  Age between: 25 – 30 years
• Strong communication and customer service skills:The ability to interact positively with customers and handle inquiries efficiently.
• Basic math skills:Ability to accurately calculate amounts and make change.
• Attention to detail:Accuracy in processing transactions and maintaining a clean checkout area.
• Knowledge of store products and locations:Ability to assist customers with finding items and providing product information.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment:The ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
• High school Bsc/B.A or equivalen
• Previous experience in retail or customer service:May be preferred, but not always required.

Salary
N180,000 / month.
