Job Position: Social Media Specialist

Job Location: Abule Egba, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time (On-Site)

Position Overview

• We are seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Specialist to lead our church’s online presence.
• This role is perfect for a storyteller at heart—someone who loves to design, write, and share content that inspires, encourages and engages.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a consistent social media content calendar.
• Create inspiring and visually engaging posts, reels, stories, and videos for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.
• Capture and share moments from worship services, ministries and community events.
• Write thoughtful captions that connect people with scriptures, sermons and church life.
• Foster engagement by responding to comments, messages, and interactions in a warm and Christ-centered way.
• Stay updated on creative trends in social media and adapt them for ministry purposes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an OND with 2+ years of experience in content creation, social media management or digital storytelling.
• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Proficiency with social media platforms, analytics and digital marketing tools.
• Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design/video apps.
• Strong writing skills, eye for photography, videography and visual storytelling.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

Added Advantage:

• Experience managing social media for a church, non-profit or ministry.
• Familiarity with live streaming and church-specific digital media practices.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 / Month.
