Job Description

  • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Supervisor to join our team at our client hotel in Edo State. 
  • The ideal candidate must reside in Edo State and will be responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high service standards. 
  • The Hotel Supervisor will play a key role in managing staff, coordinating departments, and ensuring compliance with hospitality standards and company policies.

Responsibilities
Operational Management:

  • Supervise daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage services.
  • Ensure that all departments work efficiently and provide top-tier service to guests.
  • Monitor and maintain hotel facilities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Guest Experience & Customer Service:

  • Address guest concerns and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Enhance guest satisfaction by ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes and overall service quality.
  • Gather and analyze guest feedback to implement improvements.

Staff Supervision & Training:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage hotel staff, ensuring high performance and professionalism.
  • Conduct regular staff training on hospitality standards, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to employees while ensuring adequate staffing levels.

Financial & Inventory Management:

  • Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control efforts.
  • Monitor expenses, revenue, and profitability, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing wastage.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations within the hotel.
  • Implement and maintain hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local hospitality regulations and company guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Must be a resident of Edo State.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
