Nigerian Electricity Supply Corporation (Nigeria) Limited [NESCO (Nigeria) Limited] is incorporated under the Companies Act of the Laws of Nigeria. Its core business is to generate, distribute, supply and retail electric power in Plateau State and adjacent States. 

In its drive to ensure improved and sustained efficiency and effectiveness in delivery of its mandate with strategic leadership and management, NESCO (Nigeria) Limited is seeking to recruit fully qualified, highly motivated, and well experienced persons to fill highly rewarding vacant positions that have arisen in the Corporation. 

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accounts Manager


Job Location: Bukuru, Plateau

Purpose of the Job 

  • Responsible for engaging with customers and improving the existing relationship with them

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The accounts Manager shall therefore be responsible, but not limited, for the following: 

  • Create develop and maintain high quality relationships that include creative structuring of solutions that meets  customer needs 
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of consumers, ensuring maximization of potential from each account 
  • Ensure all customers complaints are escalated and resolved within agreed time frame 
  • Improve existing customers database by deploying comprehensive KYCs and ensuring adequate completion 
  • Operate as the focal point for all complaints specific to the customer 
  • Review customer profile and promote any potential value-added services to the customer 
  • Prepare periodic reports for the attention of the Lead, Customer Service 
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Lead, Customer Service

Minimum Educational & Professional Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

  • First Degree or its equivalent in Business Administration, Social Science is required 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

Attributes and Competencies:

  • Working knowledge of the entire utility billing, payment and collection process 
  • Power network knowledge 
  • Excellent understanding of the standards of the energy industry 
  • Good Customer relationship management skill 
  • Good understanding of the regulators policy 
  • Problem Solving skills 
  • Commercial insight
