We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Video Editor

Job Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube shorts) and long-form content (interviews, tutorials, podcasts).
• Color grade and stylize footage to give it a professional, polished look.
• Add music, captions, sound effects, transitions, and visual elements to enhance storytelling.
• Repurpose long-form content into multiple short clips for different platforms.
• Stay on top of video trends and bring fresh, engaging editing styles to the table.
• Collaborate closely with the creative team to meet content goals.
• Using motion graphics and light animations to enhance edits
• Manage deadlines and deliver video assets in agreed formats.
• Maintain organized project files and archives for easy access and retrieval

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on video editing experience.
• A strong portfolio showcasing both short-form and long-form projects.
• Proficiency in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut pro, or Davinci Resolve.
• Experience in creating content for social media platforms.
• Ability to tell your story through your edits; pacing, flow, emotion, and impact.
• Color grading and sound editing skills.
• Up-to-date with current TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram video trends.
• A stable, fast internet connection.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Salary
N400,000(non-negotiable)
