Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with experience in banking and fintech environments to join our technology team.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building APIs, digital wallets, instant payment systems, and Banking-as-a-Service platforms, and a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• You will play a key role indesigning, developing, and maintaining scalable financial applications, enabling seamless integration between banks, fintechs, and end-users.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain API-driven financial applicationsincluding wallets, instant payments, and BaaS platforms.
• Buildsecure, scalable, and high-performance backend systemsfor banking and fintech services.
• Integrate with core banking systems, payment gateways, and third-party fintech services.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, and operations teamsto ensure solutions meet regulatory and business requirements.
• Ensure high availability, data integrity, and security of financial services platforms.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, architecture design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Write clean, maintainable codeand performpeer code reviews.
• Contribute to technical documentation, API specifications, and developer guides.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry standards, and regulatory changes affecting fintech and banking applications.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably inbanking or fintech environments.
• Strong experience with restful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with digital wallets, instant payments, and Banking-as-a-Service platforms.
• Proficiency in programming languagessuch asJava, C#, Python, Node.js, or Go.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
• Familiarity with security standards(PCI-DSS, ISO 27001) andregulatory compliancein financial services.
• Knowledge of payment systems, ACH, RTGS, card processing, and open banking APIs.
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred / Plus:

• Experience working withcentral banks, regulatory frameworks, or fintech sandbox environments.
• Exposure toblockchain, digital currencies, or mobile money ecosystems.
• Understanding ofKnow Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and data privacy laws.
• Prior experience withfintech partnerships, API monetization, or BaaS commercialization.
