African Natural Resources and Mines Limited (ANRML), established by African Industries Group, operates a fully integrated iron ore mining and processing plant in Gujeni village, Kagarko LGA, Kaduna state—the first of its kind in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Purchase Officer

Job Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• The Purchase Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, goods, and services required for company operations at competitive prices while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Prior experience in automobile parts or a related industry will be an added advantage, but the role is not limited to auto components.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase raw materials, spare parts, consumables, and services
• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance
• Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and maintain procurement documentation
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors
• Coordinate with stores, production, service, and accounts teams
• Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid shortages or excess stock
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
• Verify invoices, GRNs, and support finance for payment processing
• Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Mechanical, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
• Automobile or engineering industry experience preferred but not mandatory.
