PORTFOLIO OFFICER

BRIEF COMPANY PROFILE

MFS Financial Services Limited is a new but existing microfinance institution (MFI), seeking to recruit a formidable team to compliment its business operations.

Its main focus of operation is to mobilize savings, investments and grant credit through Group Lending Model (GLM).

The business office is located along Lekki – Epe expressway, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, Nigeria.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To market and sell the products and services of the company (savings, Investment and Credits)
2. Creation of quality loans and saving.
3. Must be able to have good understanding of group lending model.
4. To increase the customer base of the company.
5. To grow the loan portfolio of the company in line with the strategic set target
6. Ensure portfolio quality is achieved at all time.
7. Retainership of customers
8. Appraisal of prospective loan customers
9. Proper and adequate understanding of the products and services.
10. Feedback - Give report for management decision making where necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• OND/NCE in Banking/Finance, Marketing, business administration and other related discipline.
• A minimum of 1 year cognate experience in microfinance industry is required.
• Good display of computer skills (Microsoft office tools)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task
• Understanding of microfinance institution best practices and regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure.
