1.) Divisional Head, Engineering

About the Job
- We seek an experienced and dynamic Head of Engineering to drive the design architecture and development of new and existing software applications.
- This role is crucial in advancing our technological vision and ensuring the delivery of innovative, cutting-edge software products that align with our strategic goals.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain a roadmap to facilitate application software development and prioritise development work according to business requirements.
- Be accountable for aligning the business's strategic vision with its software technology.
- Manage and report on the performance of a substantial, diverse Software Development team.
- Establish and communicate the engineering vision and strategy in alignment with the company’s objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of engineering staff.
- Set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project/account team members, hold them accountable for achieving these and take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team / personal objectives.
- Submit monthly progress reports and align on incoming projects and needed mitigations.
Technical Oversight:
- Drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.
- Design complex and innovative engineering solutions and the validation process to realise a design brief (functionality, performance, aesthetics, and cost) that conforms to organisational and regulatory standards.
- Be responsible for developing service-oriented software and data delivery platforms with reusable components that can be orchestrated into different methods for different businesses and modalities.
- Ensure best practices in software development, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Continually monitors industry dynamics and market trends and anticipates how those trends will impact the business division and our customers' profitability.
- Lead the research, prototyping and productisation of new concepts within the research and development team.
- Provide proof-of-concept and get production-grade code prototypes that set examples for the broader team regarding new technologies or design patterns.
- Where necessary, oversee and develop patenting of intellectual property, inventions, and business processes.
- Periodically review code and direct systematic enhancements.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements into the company's technology stack.
- Approach the role from an analytics and machine learning perspective and be bold in disrupting the status quo and taking risks.
- Stay current with software technologies and solutions to ensure proper toolsets serve business divisions presently and into the future.
- Analyse and improve the software quality, including scalability, stability and security.
- Develop software skeleton specifications and design documents.
- Motivate and support the growth of all Software Development team members using equitable approaches to performance management and development that may be differentiated to help each employee's unique needs and preferences to bring out their best and meet business needs.
Project Management:
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliverables.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement project engagement plans to identify relevant stakeholders, develop positive stakeholder relationships, and ensure each stakeholder has an appropriate share of voice. Monitor and develop multiple points of entry into new and existing customer bases from both the top-down and bottom-up, elevating to the enterprise level where appropriate while continuing to add value in the field.
- Manage a portfolio of major projects/programmes aligned with the overall project management strategy.
- Act as the custodian of the implementation of those procedures within DHP.
- Lead the negotiation and deployment of annual and longer-term programmes/portfolio/project resource budgets, providing forecasts and presenting variances with narrative at appropriate review points to ensure effective utilisation.
Quality Assurance:
- Define a Software Development project plan and collaborate with Software Testing and DevOps teams on listing projects in the pipeline to maintain alignment across all functions.
- Implement robust testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Address and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks promptly.
- Ensuring and embodying the principles of agility, DevOps, and agility-at-scale at the organisational level – promoting the evolution of working practices, operating models and ways of working.
Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the company’s strategic planning process by providing technical insights and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for technological innovation that can drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
- Manage the engineering budget, including resource allocation and procurement of necessary tools and technologies.
- Formulate workforce planning reports and budgets, including, but not limited to, setting performance objectives, monitoring performance, delivering constructive feedback, providing coaching and mentoring, identifying talent for pivotal roles from a succession management standpoint, and giving ad-hoc advice when necessary.
Other Qualifying Skills:
- Strong expertise in software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound technical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with health tech or related industries is highly desirable.

- Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps) and experience implementing them in engineering teams.

- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Spring).

- Familiarity with healthcare standards and regulations (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements specific to healthcare technology.
- Experience in implementing robust security measures to protect sensitive health information and ensure data privacy.
Requirements
General Education:
- Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science or related field.
General Experience:
- At least ten (10) years of substantial general work experience and comprehensive job-related experience in business analysis and software engineering, including writing code, application engineering and software architecture.
Managerial Experience:
- At least six (6) years of experience planning, managing, and organising resources within short/medium software engineering project management timescales.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering complex software projects in an agile environment.
2.) Divisional Head, Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Summary
- To manage business plans, forecasts and budgets for the group by reviewing and coordinating plan submissions between regions, divisions and groups, carrying out variance analysis between actual financial performances and budgets or forecasts in order to increase the quality of planning, analysis, timely & effective analysis of our financial performance against plan and communication of said analysis for decision making
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the consolidated reporting of group monthly results to the group executives, management, and board.
- Addressing all ad hoc reporting/ financial presentation requests.
- Responsible for accurate allocation of revenues and expenses into the right cost centres and also assess the impact of changes in Macroeconomic variables or accounting standards on current reporting practices for significant transactions.
- Structuring and enhancing reporting templates as appropriate.
- Responsible for analytical review of all Management Reporting, ensuring that robust commentaries are prepared to support and tell the story behind the numbers.
- Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports using software such as Power BI.
- Responsible for the automation and continuous improvement of planning and reporting. Integration of acquisitions and new ventures from a reporting standpoint.
- Assist in the preparing of Technical Accounting Papers on Complex or new Financial Transactions (where needed)
- Undertake strategic and tactical financial analysis, modelling, and evaluation to support business leaders in their decision-making.
- Responsible for managing the end-to-end process for the Annual Budget and periodic forecasting for Operating expenses, Capital Expenditure and Group cashflow preparations.
- Provide financial modelling input into business cases, costs, and schedules to support growth in the business.
- Responsible for analytical review of all Management Reporting, ensuring that robust commentaries are prepared to support and tell the story behind the numbers.
- Serve as a gatekeeper on efficiency measures from a Finance standpoint for the Group by monitoring Key Performance Indicators on efficiency ratios at the Group, Regional, divisional and departmental levels.
- Monitoring, analysing and interpreting Business KPIs, commenting as appropriate and reflecting in reporting.
- Conduct research using primary data sources and select the information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practices.
- Act as a business partner to key internal customers and manage relationships with them. Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and related policies, referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.
- Advise managers on how to apply a wide variety of existing procedures and precedents.
- Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Deploy user/departmental-specific BI dashboards on cost drivers or revenue analysis to ensure businesses have a near real-time view of their cost drivers and financial performance.
- Manage and drive the performance of direct reports, set appropriate performance objectives and hold them accountable for achieving these, provide constructive performance feedback, and take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure team/personal objectives achievement.
- Motivate, develop and grow the team by providing training, coaching, mentoring and identifying talent and successors for pivotal roles.
Requirements
General Education:
- BSc. From an accredited university with a minimum of Second-class Upper.
- A Masters in Business Administration will be an added advantage
General Experience:
- At least 5 years of Financial Planning & Analysis or Financial control and management experience in a Financial Services or Technology Institution.
- Experience should include Budgeting & Forecasting, Financial Statement or Business Performance Analysis, Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards, Project Management, Use of Data Analytics Software (e.g. Power BI/ Tableau/ Python).
Managerial Experience:
- At least 3 years in a leadership position, managing and coordinating resources preferably a Financial Planning team or financial control team.
3.) Head, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

- As the IFRS Manager within Interswitch's Finance and Supply Chain group, your primary role is to ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) while also contributing to the company's financial strategy and operational efficiency.
- You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and providing guidance on complex accounting issues.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures in line with IFRS standards.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure their accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to finance teams across various business units.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial controls and processes to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
- Lead or assist in special projects related to financial reporting, such as mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring activities.
- Stay updated on changes to IFRS standards and assess their impact on the company's financial reporting.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the audit process and ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial systems and reporting tools.

Functional Strategy Formation and Implementation:

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll identify and mitigate risks associated with revenue leakage, payment delays, and bad debt, all while aligning efforts with the company's risk appetite.

Requirements
General Education:
- Advance Degrees in Business, Accounting, Statistics, Finance or other related fields.
Evidence of strong industry/sector participation and relevant professional certifications such as:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
- Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) EXPERIENCE
General Experience:
- At least 10 years data or business analysis, preferably in a reputable Financial Institution or FinTech company.
Managerial Experience:
- At least 7 years of experience of planning, managing and organising resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.
