Design Synchrony helps to create more time for "Key Activities" by handling the important yet generic tasks for businesses. We want to free up time for more brainstorming sessions, growth, and increased bottom line. Tasks like: Branding, UI/UX, Website design/development and management, Printing, Graphics and Social media management.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Office Assistant

Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team.
• The ideal candidate should reside near Shomolu, Lagos, and be ready to assist with various office duties, ensuring smooth operations and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle office correspondence, both incoming and outgoing
• Maintain office supplies and inventory
• Assist with scheduling and managing appointments
• Organize and file documents
• Perform general administrative tasks as required

Requirements

• Must live within or close to Shomolu, Lagos
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Previous office experience is a plus, but not required
• Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and reliable

2.) Graphic Designer

Job Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• A Graphic Designer is an artist who creates visual text and imagery.
• They design creative content for online campaigns, print ads, websites, and even videos.

Responsibilities

• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Requirements and Skills

• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or a related field is a plus
• Proven graphic designing experience
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.

3.) Software Developer

Job Location: Nationwide
Employment Type: Temporary

Job Description

• We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Developer to join our team.
• In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions that meet the needs of our users and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create efficient and scalable software solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software systems for improved performance
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code standards
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to continually improve skills and knowledge
• Develop APIs and integrate third-party services where necessary
• Ensure software solutions are secure and adhere to data privacy standards
• Participate in agile methodologies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven experience as a Software Developer or similar role
• Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., React Js, Next Js, Vue.js) and/or back-end frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Laravel)
• Strong understanding of database management (SQL) and web application development
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
