We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Methods & Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Manager

Job Location: Rivers

Summary


  • Lead the strategic development and implementation of operational standards and QHSE expectations across the entire organization (Marine and Logistics, Mobility, Base, Office and Accommodation, etc.) in line with statutory, regulatory, clients, and other stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Ensures the deployment, implementation, and improvement of the Bourbon Safety Management and Quality Management System tailored to fit in line with the Management principles stated in the BINL policies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the BINL Quality and HSE processes. 
  • Deploy the Operational Standards across the entire Organization.
  • Manage Quality and HSE Culture of BINL and its employees, check implementation.
  • Develop and Manage HSE and Quality Campaigns and Solutions for Operational Safety.
  • Optimize cost and time for remote participation in Safety Meetings. Budget Compliance.
  • Sustain Client confidence through active participation in Client's QHSE Meetings.
  • Ensure Formalized Quality and HSE competency development for the QHSE team.
  • Enhance Administrative, Supervisory and managerial competencies of the QHSE team.
  • Act As Designated Person Assure for All BINL Surfer. As required by the ISM and ISPS codes.
  • Control all documents from Assist Authors / Process Owners in line to BOURBON Document Standard and structure.
  • Track and keep record of Situation Report as well as Management Vessel Visit.
  • Monitoring client satisfaction, the QHSE Manager shall follow and measure processes and services given by BINL against policies, objectives, and requirements for the product and report the results taking actions to continually improve the process.
  • The QHSE manager shall ensure that customer requirements are defined and met to enhance customer satisfaction. 
  • Enhance Mutual Understanding with Clients and Operational Safety Management issues.

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of postgraduate qualification in Sciences, Engineering, HSE or Management (MSC, MBA etc.)

Experience:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of postgraduate experience in sciences, engineering, or Management out of which Seven (7) is at HSE Management level within the marine industry.

2.) Mechanic

Job Location: Rivers

Mission

  • Assist engineers with preventative and corrective maintenance on all vessels in order to improve vessels' technical availability and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Improve the vessel's technical availability and reliability, thereby reducing costs and downtime.
  • Maintain tools under his inventory in good working condition of work.
  • Follow QHSE procedures and improve safety during all base maintenance activities.
  • Capable of carrying out the jobs related to a PMP and UPMP.
  • Knowledge of the structural design and mechanical systems, and equipment related to all BINL vessels.
  • Knowledge of the maintenance tools, methodologies and maintenance techniques used on BINL vessels.
  • Know how to promote HSE culture awareness in his scope of responsibility.

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences
Qualifications:

  • Basic mechanical knowledge

Experiences:

  • 2 years of experience in a technical support role.

3.) Surfer Pilot (OOW DECK)

Job Location: Offshore, Nigeria

Roles

  • Responsible and in charge of Navigation, Preparation, Maneuvering the vessel and managing emergency situations
  • Supervise passengers and cargo transfer
  • Ensures vessel tidiness and cleanliness, and routine maintenance
  • In charge of compliance to Bourbon and Clients policies and procedures;
  • Motivating personnel to apply policies and follow procedures, by providing information and familiarization and by carrying out emergency drills
  • Conduct crew management and training
  • In charge of reporting technical or operational incident to the
    Management necessary and practicable to do
  • Responsible and in charge of Navigation, Preparation, Maneuvering the vessel and managing emergency situations
  • Supervise passengers and cargo transfer
  • Ensuring that the bridge is sufficiently manned at all times, taking into consideration the prevailing conditions and the principles of safe manning
  • Reporting (Daily/Weekly/Monthly) as applicable and required

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

  • OOW DECK (NCV/UNLIMITED); STCW CERTIFICATIONS AS APPLICABLE
  • 2 years or more as a Deck Officer or Surfer Pilot
