1.) General Maintenance Engineer

Job Location: Amuwo Odofin, Lagos

Job Summary


  • We are seeking an experienced and reliable General Maintenance Engineer to support our facility upgrades, machine operations and assist in ensuring our equipment and facilities run smoothly and efficiently.

Scope of Work
We are looking for a General Maintenance Engineer who can oversee and/or execute tasks including (but not limited to):

  • Facility construction and structural modifications.
  • Installation of food processing equipment.
  • Electrical and mechanical system upgrades.
  • Plumbing and HVAC work.
  • Ensuring all work complies with food safety regulations including OSHA, GMP, HACCP and local building codes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance and repair of food processing equipment, packaging lines, conveyors, and plant utilities.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic PLC-related issues.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance (PM) schedules to reduce downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize equipment performance.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks meet food safety, GMP, and safety compliance standards.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize production interruptions.
  • Maintain tools, spare parts inventory, and safe working practices.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Technical Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Experience with food processing or packaging equipment is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment drawings.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and respond to call-outs when needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

2.) Production Officer

Job Location: Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Production Manager
Industry: FMCG - focus on Snacks

Job Summary

  • The Production Officer is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production lines.
  • This role ensures high-quality output, adherence to safety and hygiene standards, and efficient resource utilization. 
  • The Production Officer plays a key role in achieving production targets, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Rresponsibilities

  • Supervise daily production activities across assigned shifts or production lines.
  • Ensure adherence to production schedules and output targets.
  • Monitor and control processing parameters to maintain product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000).
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance team to address non-conformance and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, proper equipment functioning, and staff compliance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of production operators andfactoryworkers.
  • Maintain production records and generate daily reports on output, downtime, and labor utilization.
  • Monitor raw material usage and minimize waste.
  • Enforce company health and safety policies.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in snacks or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
  • Strong understanding of production planning, process control, and quality systems.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP software.
  • Shift work may be required, including nights or weekend.

3.) Storage Manager

Job Location: Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Store Manager to oversee the inventory and storage operations at the facility. 
  • This includes receiving raw materials, maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring timely issuance of materials to production, and managing finished goods inventory. 
  • The role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted production and efficient supply chain flow within the snack manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials (raw materials, packaging, finished goods, etc.).
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to avoid overstocking or stock-outs.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of raw materials to production lines.
  • Lead and supervise storekeepers and warehouse staff.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement and manage FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) inventory practices
  • Ensure that materials are stored safely, organized, and labeled properly. - Conduct periodic cycle counts and monthly/annual physical inventory checks.
  • Liaise with production, quality control, and procurement teams for material planning and demand forecasting.
  • Generate regular reports on stock levels, wastage, and discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP).

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven years of experience in store or warehouse management, preferably in a food manufacturing setup.
  • Proficiency in inventory software (e.g. Odoo).
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Good understanding of food safety and material handling standards.
