Job Position: Head of Accounts
Job Location: Ajah, Lagos

Job Summary
- The accountant will play a key role in ensuring effective, efficient, and professional operations of the Accounts Department, contributing to ensuring the highest standards of finance management are achieved.
Job Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for the:
- Preparing daily, monthly, and yearly reports and ensuring that necessary filings and payments are done on time.
- Supervise accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable and Inventory
- Manage the working capital of the business
- Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks
- Manage relationships with financial partners.
- Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines
- Promotes collection efficiency
- Stimulate and monitor budget process company-wide.
- Budget Preparation
- Maintain Assets register listing / Assets transfer/disposal management
- Maintain and manage asset depreciation
- Payment of monthly staff salary, tax deductions, and all related calculations.
- Utilize accounting software and financial management systems to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions.
- Provide relevant management reports
- Perform special projects/tasks as needed.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of HND or BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional Certificate such as The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) is an added advantage.
- Applicant must possess up to 5 years and above experience on the job.
- Proficient in accounting software such as Sage, Zoho Microsoft Excel, ERPNEXT experience is an added advantage, other ERP cloud-based accounting systems, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Males preferred for gender balance.
Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 monthly excluding incentives.
