Job Position: Electrical Engineer (Green Energy / Solar)
Job Location: Lagos

Job Description
- In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in integrating green energy solutions into our telecommunications infrastructure.
- You will leverage your deep understanding of electrical systems and your knowledge of renewable energy technologies to design, implement, and manage sustainable power solutions for our network.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for telecom sites, incorporating green energy sources like solar and wind power.
- Lead feasibility studies and cost analyses for renewable energy integration projects.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency across the telecom network.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of green energy solutions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry regulations and safety standards related to electrical systems and renewable energy.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues on green energy integration projects.
- Stay current on emerging green technologies and best practices within the telecom industry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical engineering design and implementation, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- Proven track record of successfully integrating renewable energy solutions into existing infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical power systems, including power distribution, power conversion, and battery storage technologies.
- Working knowledge of solar, wind, and other relevant renewable energy technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
