About the Role

• A leading Furniture manufacturing company in Enugu are seeking a detail-oriented and experiencedAccountantto manage the financial operations of our organization.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance, and supporting management with reliable financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and general bookkeeping.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and process payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, federal/state tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
• Track expenses, analyze financial data, and provide recommendations for efficiency.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions as required.
• Manage inventory reporting, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience (industry experience is an advantage).
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, etc.) is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Integrity, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Salary
N120,000 monthly.
