Role Overview

• WATT Renewable Corporation is seeking a full-time, on-site Accountant in Lagos.
• This role provides the sole finance function for Alliance Towers Limited, responsible for end-to-end financial management, including accounting, reporting, compliance, controls, and day-to-day financial operations.
• This role requires strong discipline, independence, and ownership.

• Accurate and timely financial reporting
• Strong financial controls and compliance discipline
• Clean audit outcomes and regulatory compliance
• Clear visibility into cash flow, receivables, and payables

Core Responsibilities
Financial Operations:

• Manage end-to-end accounting including AR, AP, GL, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and payment schedules

Compliance & Controls:

• Ensure statutory compliance (taxes, filings, audits)
• Maintain strong internal controls and documentation
• Support external audits and regulatory reviews

Reporting & Insight:

• Track expenses, revenues, and cost allocations
• Support budgeting and forecast processes
• Provide clear financial insight to management

Systems & Discipline:

• Maintain accurate records within accounting systems
• Ensure data integrity and timely financial close

Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of accounting experience
• ACA or ACCA qualification (required or near completion)
• Experience operating as a sole accountant
• Infrastructure, telecom, or asset-heavy environment experience preferred
