We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accountant

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Lagos. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• The role involves budgeting and forecasting, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with audits and tax filings.
• Additionally, the Accountant will provide financial analysis and support for decision-making processes within the company.

Qualifications

• HND / BSc Degree in Accounting
• The individual must have 5- 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar association or non-profit organisation and a strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Financial Record Keeping, including maintaining financial records and preparing financial statements
• Experience with Accounts Payable and Receivable Management
• Skills in Payroll Processing and ensuring Compliance with Financial Regulations
• Competency in Budgeting and Forecasting
• Ability to reconcile bank statements and manage audits and tax filings
• Analytical skills for Financial Analysis and decision-making support
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are an advantage
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
